Ground Ladder Testing
E & K Independent is proud to provide annual service testing for fire department's ground ladders. Our testing practices are take straight from the NFPA 1932 standards for "Use, Maintenance, and Service Testing of In-Service Fire Department Ground Ladders"When conducting service tests, E & K is helping to ensure a reasonable level of safety and peace of mind for the fire fighters and citizens that count on this equipment to perform to the level in which it was designed. When Service Testing the Following Points are Covered:
- All inspections outlined in chapter 6 of the NFPA 1932
- Horizontal Bending Test
- Roof Hooks Test (if applicable)
- Extension Ladder Hardware Test (if applicable)
- Written test results on each ladder tested
